The Cause: Visual Aid

Confession is a charity party designed to bring together incredible people from all walks of life to celebrate art, music, dance, design and food. 100% of profits from Confession will benefit Visual Aid (visualaid.org). Each year, over 75 professional, visual artists suffering from disabling, life-threatening illnesses such as HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C and breast cancer benefit from Visual Aid’s programs. Serving Bay Area visual artists from diverse backgrounds, the organization encourages artists to remain active participants in the larger arts community, and promotes dialogue on illness and art. Doors open at 6pm sharp for the 21 and up, and Andy Butler will be playing Hercules & Love Affair’s signature sound until doors close at 11pm. Guests will be treated to complimentary vodka cocktails from Stoli, 209 Gin, and Barefoot Wine & Bubbly.

Reason to Party

Reason to Party was founded by a group of young, tech-savvy entrepreneurs who decided to use social media to engage the 20s-30s crowd in support of good causes.

Reason to Party is one of California's hottest young parties, which has garnered the attention of Forbes Magazine, NBC, and even Mayor Gavin Newsom, who declared a "Reason to Party" day in San Francisco.

With start-ups happening simultaneously in Los Angeles, New York, and Sacramento, Reason to Party has become an internationally-recognized space for the young nonprofit, high-tech, artistic, and enterprising cultures to connect, give back, and share a powerful new reason to party.
